Huddersfield to Greater Manchester for an ambulance- that’s awful :mad:
Hope you’re still enjoying your new shoes Beanie.
The weather is like the middle of winter here - hope it’s better near you, although I’m thinking it’s same in most places.
Hope you’re feeling a bit more like Beanie today, never forget you’re a special lady :beer:January spends - £587.580 -

Physio today & my balance is no better.

Blooming painful manipulation today.
Bah to that too.
In other news the foodbank just gets busier & busier.
DS is coming tomorrow to help me take Mr N to the vet for a check up & to hopefully get his front claws done.

I've had the heating on too [reluctantly] but the weather is dire. Sorry physio was tough. Hope Mr N's vet visit goes well. BOFB had matts cut off yesterday as well - as he's got older he finds it more difficult to groom his tummy and haunches, I brush him every day but those areas still get big matts. He is not keen on having them removed hence the need for sedation. He also had his claws clipped. It was £140 in total including other tests but worth it as I'm sure he'll be more comfortable now.0 -
Evening Beanie
I've had the heating on as well. It's cold, wet and miserable in these parts but touch wood we don't flood so it could be worse.
Has something happened in your area like an industry closure to make the foodbank busier or is it just people struggling in general? On the back of what you've been saying about your foodbank I dropped some things off at ours yesterday. I don't agree with their policies but hopefully somebody in need will benefit and then find somewhere else that's a bit more relaxed about the number of times you can go.
Hope the visit to the vet goes well. xx0 -
It's cold in Devon too, I was sat under a blanket last night and I wished I had gloves at playtime yesterday. It feels a bit warmer today thought.

Yes, that is my thought that best boy may need to go back again after tomorrow & be sedated.
I dont really know how I feel about that in view of his age & I would never ever forgive myself if something happened.

I know exactly what you mean, I agonised long and hard about asking them to sedate BOFB if possible but it was the only way to get the matts off and they must have been pulling, one was really tangled upI was really wound up about it but they were great at the vets and very good with him but I was more nervous about it than I was when I went in myself for surgery
I had all sorts of scenarios going on in my head so huge relief when they phoned to say I could pick him up.
