Great news about the windfall. A scooter sounds like a good idea if it means you can get out and about more safely. Is this something you'll have to buy yourself or can you tap into some funds towards it?
That's a good old age for Best Boy, I hope Master J gets better soon. And Miss J sounds like she's going to spend her last days with just the right person looking after her.

Great news for the scooter fund, check your local selling pages on FB, there's always decent second hand ones on there. Sometimes their batteries have had it from not being charged enough/regularly but replacements can be ordered."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
