You're worth more than you know Beanie although I can imagine how being bullied affects people throughout their lives. I've always said the only thing worse than mine being bullied is if they were the bullies. I'd be absolutely devastated.

That's lovely of DS and his GF to drop in to see how you are. Hate to say I told you so but there you go, you do matter to them. :D Glad DS likes his new car. Has he decided to take the job offer? xx

Very touched actually by all your lovely comments.
I know I struggle with self worth because I was bullied at High School :(

    Anyway, on a lighter note.
    So very touched tonight.
Both DS & his GF popped in tonight independantly to check I was ok.
Which was very nice of them both.
I had a big hug with DS & another cry.
Went fot a wee spin with DS in his shiny new car.
    Love it.

    Thanks again xx

That's really sweet of DS and GF :). I was bullied at high school too :(.

    Yes, it is horrid.
DS was bullied at school by some 'lovely' people because of the way I walk  I dident find that gem out until recently & not from him.

Still debating on job offer xx

Beanie you really do matter. To your family, friends, fellow chanters, folk at the fb, virtual friends your furry felines.....and that’s just the bit of your life I know of through your postings. You’ve kept me on plodding on :beer:

Big virtual hug and positive vibes heading to you from me:grouphug:

You matter to me Beanie...very much.
....and I agree, this emoji is well dodgy :grouphug: (It's like something out of a 1970's sitcom!)

Everyone is bullied, some more than others and there really isn't any reason. I got bullied for being posh, I got bullied because someone just didn't like me. Some people are just not very nice and some bully because they are bullied or because they feel so inadequate themselves.

Just popped in to agree with everyone re your worth and not being a burden and to say 'abide with me' makes me greet too :o . I also think its not just about the funeral on that day but it focuses us on previous losses as well IYSWIM
  • Beanie you commented on the eulogy delivered by your friend’s son. If you doubt your worth, ask what your nearest and dearest would say about you in those circumstances. This should reassure you. Take care
