Thanks lovely peeps.

I was also told that I was difficult to talk to and that I lie. My dad told me. That's how I knew it was a load of b*llocks. Sometimes you need to listen to someone with a more balanced view......like us! Like El, I would have to disagree, I've always found you amazingly supportive.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. Was at a funeral yesterday.
Someone my age.
Such a bleeping waste.
My other friend continues to be really unwell.
I just would love to spend money on something really frothy & daft.
On another note.
Some advice please.
My (not so at the mo) DS is 22 this year.
I am still paying life insurance so that my mortgage is paid off if I pop my cloggs before it is paid off.
I am veering towards cancelling it.

Ooh, beanie ... sorry about your friend, first of all
What I'd say right away, though, is don't make financial decisions as a result of anger or grief. Wait a bit, even a month or so, and work it through. On here, bit by bit, after journalling about it, if need be.
Take care of yourself, especially today - I know you're not well, and a funeral is stressful at the best of times. Bad day today for me as well, 6 years ago today, I was wandering about St George's Intensive Care Unit in a daze, having sat by a bedside overnight2023: the year I get to buy a car2
