Subscribing to your diary beanielou you are an amazing person from what I have read, and quietly strong. You face such difficulties and yet you are such a sweet soul. Keep posting we're all cheering you on.

So in exciting news I will be ordering two of the new windows that I so desperatly need.
I have applied to a charitable fund but have not heard anything but havent heard anything.Nothing lost but my time. Will have to save further for the last one that really really needs done.
So my bedroom is now very firmly on the back burner.
I think the fabric of house more important~~ maybe just a wee bit sad as would be nice to have decorated my room as it is very grubby as I lean on the walls~~but it will do another wee while.
A friend has kindly offered to paint garage door~~so kind :j
    Need to get paint.
Also need a new toilet seat.
It just goes on & on.

Good news on the window - hope the charitable fund comes through for you - fingers crossed! I fully get where you are coming from with the house - I look around mine and just wish I could pay someone to come in and sort it all out, clean it thoroughly (not just the lick and promise I give it!) and redecorate - then keep on top of it! But yes the structural stuff like windows need to be a priority before the nice bits!

Nice of your friend to offer to do the garage - that's great!

And yes that list will go on, and on, and on....... the joys of home ownership!

I'm sure you've got your priorities right, beanie, the structural stuff comes first. As for grubby - my cobwebs have got cobwebs :o

Doesn't it just. My kitchen tap has started dripping and it is one of those integral tap and sink combo's....which means I'll have to replace the whole thing.....and just like the last house, newer sinks will be smaller so I'll have to replace the whole worktop! Better start saving.
