Quite amazed to get into a size 12 sale dress today. Could not get it to zip up as the zip was at the back and not the side for some reason. Had to go to my friends with a wee cardi on so she could zip it up 🤣. Then she had to partially unzip it before I came home.
Travel insurance is done. Thanks @Sun_Addict for the help.

- OPs to mortgage = £19,809 Estd. interest saved = £10,180 to date

Well done getting into the dress. Zips on the back of dresses aren't the easiest things to do up by yourself.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -

I had a wee top on today with a button at the back and couldn’t for the life of me do it up so had to take arms out of sleeves and do it at the front first then turn it round - what a palaver! So you have my sympathies!
I was up in your neck of the woods today. Sat nav took me a strange route to the big golf town. Tried usual route on way home and got delayed for hours so maybe it had a point.

I found a tip for doing up / undoing zips at the back of a dress that was so obvious I couldn't believe I had not managed to think of it so sharing in case it is helpful to anyone - thread a little piece of string or wool through the hole on the zip. You can pull the zip up or down and just remove the pull thread easily once the zip done/undone. How in my many years I had not thought of that ????? (I too have had to ask pals or knock on hotel room doors!)
Now I only buy items that zip if there is a hole in the zipper pull.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5
