Also quicker on line - VNM did his on line after I applied for mine and his passport is already on his way back. I did mine at the PO thinking it would be easier and it was not as no sign of mine yet!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Is it worth doing the passport anyway as you don't want to miss out if she says yes but not until there's not enough time to get your passport. And it lasts for ten years so even if you don't use it this time you'll be in a position to use it if you want to for lots more years

I would apply for the passport anyway then at least it’s done. Did your friend indicate she’d be able to go with you despite being newly wed?

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

Goodness, I don't think that's been said about me once let alone 'as always' 😂

We’ve also been looking into getting new passports. We did eventually manage to get acceptable photos with ds help yesterday. Then by the time we’d arrived home ready to fill the rest of the form in it had timed out 🤬After the day I’ve had today I couldn’t face the forms so tomorrow it is 👍 I wouldn’t mind we’ve had the old ones 10 years and they’ve never been out of the country……just expensive I’d.
