She seems better today & is getting out later.

Lovely wee lodger had kindly put the duvet cover on the new duvet yesterday.
Unfortunately the spare mattress protector was no where to be found. I ordered a new one yesterday and it’s coming later. I will have to try to wrestle with it later. I can only try as there is no one to ask. At times like this the pure frustration of being disabled is overwhelming. I have already fallen today and bashed my nose.
Anyway her room is almost done but I do need to try to clean the mirror.

You are making heroic efforts and tbh, I suspect your mum won’t be in any kind of state to notice a smudgy mirror for a while …

You are going to a great deal of effort and your mum will know and appreciate that

Jeez.  I am absolutely cream crackered. Had to admit defeat with the sheet and mattress protector. Can’t for the life of me get the 4th corner of either to stay put. I have had to message my ex-DH who is picking up my mum in lieu of DS & he will do it. Bah.
Right must go and empty the dishwasher again.
