    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

    Delurking again
when I had mine done ,they put a long acting nerve block in so the first 48 hrs you’ve got extra pain relief

it wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting , yes full recovery took 6 months ,but it was amazing just what I could do after 8 weeks .i had graded physio for I think 8 weeks then just follow up exercises ,could drive after 3 months .
i was younger than your mum but the lady in the next bed was her age or a bit older and she went home after 48 hrs too ,she went to her sons for two weeks ( I saw her in out patients

    hope that helps

That’s absolutely amazing. Thanks SO much for sharing.

I have booked her in with my physio for 2 appointments. Not next week but the following 2 weeks. I’m sure she will get instructions from the hospital physio. One wee problem with her coming to me is that we are not in the same health board area so wasn’t sure how the follow up physio would work.
I will not tell her that it’s quite so long for driving as she was already horrified at it being at least 6 weeks!
