Oh that's really annoying about the council tax bill Beanie, especially if your income hasn't changed at all! How very sneaky of them 😡2

I had a flock of goldfinch come visit me in my last house I think they were eating my lavender 🤔 or maybe some bugs on it 🤔😆.
Sorry to hear about the council tax bill. That doesn't sound right to me. Surely if you receive benefits of any kind then you pay a reduced rate don't you? 😔Emergency Fund- £717.773 -
Thanks to the bird spotters out there 👍 I’ve never seen a gold finch near me 😢
How ridiculous to give you money with one hand and immediately take it back with the other.January spends - £587.581 -
As I said to them on the phone welfare rights were unaware of this CT issue when I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago. Welfare rights are a council department.Sigh.KajiKita said:What is the point of giving with one hand and taking away with the other?! 🙄 I don’t follow the logic of this at all …

It is so exhausting trying to get any joined-up thinking in this country.
Can the council stagger the bills so you don't have to find it all at once?
Have you checked your benefit entitlements lately? Might be a few quid to be saved somewhere?

I know this post will be removed.Labour are utter !!!!!!. Changes to motability scheme. All advance payments on cars will now cost an additional 20% as they are adding VAT. Also the insurance costs going up by 20% as some insurance tax is being applied. Absolutely not on. How can ordinary disabled people deal with this. Absolutely did not see this coming.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I am so sorry Beanie. It just seems so hard for so many people and not really joined up at all. (Seriously wishing I had bought the place without the roof in Yorkshire as I could have just hidden away in all that land and ignored the world).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
I’m so annoyed on your (and many others) behalf Beanie 😡😡😡 I remember the day when the old ‘invalid’ cars were around ….the blue ones where a disabled person couldn’t travel with family. I’m ashamed to say many of the politicians just dont live in the real world. I e got no words 🤬🤬January spends - £587.583
