When DS & I were messaging last night the air was blue. So there we have it. We are kicked down again. Had a cry last night.milann said:I’m so annoyed on your (and many others) behalf Beanie 😡😡😡 I remember the day when the old ‘invalid’ cars were around ….the blue ones where a disabled person couldn’t travel with family. I’m ashamed to say many of the politicians just dont live in the real world. I am in complete agreement with you . Whilst I myself would not want a top of the range car I think if someone is entitled to the benefit and wants to pay a deposit for such a car they should be able to if they choose. What next 'you can have your disability benefit but your only allowed to buy what we dictate with it ' . Absolutely livid about it all , do these people seriously think disabled people would not rather be able enough to work and support themselves, I know I would .4

A day of two half’s. Have missed out on Proclaimers tickets and am upset. No blooming idea how the disabled tickets sold out so fast.In other news been out for lunch with two good friends, including my lovely friend who is not well. Lovely lunch & she enjoyed it but got very tired quickly. Every time we are out I wonder if that will be the last time.Moving on I have treated myself to some new clothes. Can’t afford it but hey ho.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Re the Proclaimers tickets, have you tried calling the venue? I have a disabled friend and she has sometimes found calling a venue really helpful. She also is a whizz at negotiating, in that she says she does not need to sit in the special disabled seats but she must have an end of row seat and just sometimes it has paid off . (Best one she ever pulled off were tickets in the press seats for an opera event!)
Nice re the lunch, and, sometimes we need to splurge and clothes always seem the best plan then
Hope today is a good day
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
As @Watty1 says it might be worth calling the venue. This is what I do when I take Mr SA to the theatre/concert hall. They usually manage to find him an end seat with as few steps as possible. It usually means sitting right at the back but needs must.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Sorry about the Proclaimers tickets. Glad you had a nice lunch though, and happy new clothes."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
