Just pondering on how easy it is for people to get sucked in to Black Friday & whatever. My in box is overflowing with emails about so called sales. I am so glad I am currently in such a strong no spending money on anything that is not absolutely necessary mindset.

You could unsubscribe from all those email, there is normally a link at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe, this would eventually mean you get less and less if you keep doing it. My problem isn't spending on various items but except on food, I keep luxuriating myself with pastries and chocolate milk shake and chocolate etc, I can't seem to stop myself it is like I have done it soo frequently I can't change...what is wrong with me?

I unsubscribe from all emails from companies.  It probably saves me more in not being tempted to buy than I'd get from any discount codes I'd get from them.  It's also lovely not having an inbox full every time I go in.

  • My inbox confirms it is embarrassingly easy for those with little self control to succumb to sales…and that’s after a big email unsubscribe push earlier this year 😂

I just delete the emails. If I want something I’ll search for it.

I remember the caramel wafers and tea cakes from primary school days. We had a tuck shop where you could buy them along with bags of little shaped crackers, I think they were called Shapes 🤔
