Early morning shannigans here. Early hours of the morning some one knocked on door & then tried the door. Hardly slept last night. Have reported it to the police so it’s on record. Slightly shaken up.

Oh no! No wonder you are shaken up. Hopefully just some idiot drunk getting confused about how to get home to a friend’s house or some such. What did the police say?

How scary, hope you are ok.  Good to report it to the police.

I would be shaken up too. Sorry you had that experience. Not sure of your layout, but can security be improved in anyway?

  • I hope it was nothing serious and just someone at the wrong house in the dark by accident...♥️
I've had it happen to me before but then I was living in an army estate at the time where there seemed to be a thousand houses all the same ....still scary. A ring doorbell might be the answer?

Hope your DS is settling well. £3k is a lot! Hopefully that's not one months rent 😯

oh that was a horrible thing to experience.   I hope you feel more settled tonight and can trust it was just a drunk idiot in the dark.    Video doorbells are so worthwhile in events like this.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

How frightening for you. Hope it was just a drunk getting the house mixed up and not something untoward. There seems to be a spate of this kind of thing happening lately unfortunately. The trouble is there’s no police presence anymore like there used to be. They need to patrol at night like they used to.
