Where in the car do you put it? Could you sit in the drivers seat, fold it whilst seated and lift it over yourself to the passenger seat. That’s how folk I know do their wheelchair? I know I can be guilty of putting new things away for a while before using them - I've no idea why. Possibly a hangover from the days when I overspent and wanted to hide how much I'd bought. I have tried the walker in the car between showers. It won’t fit in the front but fits perfectly in the back & will just be behind the driver door so easy to get out. It was heavier than I thought but ok. So that done.New door mat/runner for inside has come & it is not quite as long as I thought purely down to my poor measuring. No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things. You can’t really hack your way to frugal. You can and should take advantage of discounts, coupons, rewards points, and the like. But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
