Please don't be shy of making a fuss tonight or over the weekend if you feel concerned. Get in touch with NHS advice like you did before and hopefully they'll be able to reassure you or let you know to get it checked.

The cardigan sounds great. Not good about your head still bleeding, have they taken out the staples too early?
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -

Beanielou head injuries take far longer to heal than one things they will. I know this from experience - I was patched up by a fabulous surgeon - but - it took me a lot longer to heal than I expected.
Rest is essential, some books to read if you can, or an audio book, or magazines and rest. Way more rest than you think you need - and - check in with a doctor if you need to. I could not resume my normal life for a fortnight longer than I thought, and even after the stiches were out I was very fragile. You are doing a lot for a young lady with a head injury.
