    Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.  People's attitudes can be so shocking.

    Someone I know posted on FB recently about what on the surface appears to be a very minor issue with a refurbished car park and the disabled spaces, but in reality it causes a lot of problems for people with wheelchairs/scooters.  They just asked whether others had experienced problems as they didn't get a helpful response from the council.  The amount of people that were posting comments about 'first world problems', 'get a life', 'learn to drive' etc was astounding.  There were several other people posting who were either disabled or have disabled friends/family who were agreeing that the new spaces were problematic, so it obviously was an issue.  The lack of empathy or basic understanding is just awful.

    As I said to the surly woman yesterday, walk for a day in disabled people's shoes  :(

    I sympathise on the wet floor issue. I did huge damage to my knee slipping on a wet floor but because there was a sign I couldn't claim.

    Sorry you lost friends in the Piper disaster.
