Isn't it fascinating to see a friend from so long ago!  I was contacted last year by a schoolfriend who married so young that I was her maid of honour!  Lost touch when I moved away permanently, and then my parents moved to the other side of the Mersey :) it's fascinating to see how life has gone!

35 years ago since the dreadful Piper Alpha tragedy.
I lost colleague's then as not everyone on PA were in the oil industry.
Lovely men who went to do their job.
They never came back to their families.
    A dreadful dreadful day.
I can still remember the the surreal atmosphere is the news unfolded.
    RIP my friends.
    Such a horrible thing :(

Today has not been the best day.
Had a surly shop assistant who could not take on board I was unhappy with the wet floor in a shop.
According to her there were wet floor signs up so that made it ok.
No actually, I was walking with a walker & the floor was wet which makes the whole experience dire.
She could just not grasp the issue at all.
    Some people are just dire.7
    That's my FRiday moam.

They should mop floors before the shop opens or when it closes unless there’s a spillage to clear up. I slipped in a shop last week where they’d just mopped the floor. Luckily I managed to right myself but someone less able might not have been able to 🙁
    Agreed  :(
