Phew, I have just caught up with your diary after months of not reading any! Two bits from me...
Cold feet remedy - a fake-fur covered hot water bottle on top of your feet and ankles if you use a footstool, with a blanket over your legs is wonderful (I sit in a draught from the front door!) - if you don't use a footstool, (you should) the floor; under, on top of, or "gripped" between your ankles are all good, as is wiggling your toes.
INOD suggested pimping your walker and I googled it. Well, I have to share this. Just saying...
I was surprised when I looked up Plusnet for Social Tariffs (as they are wholly owned by BT) to find that they don't offer one, BUT,- they are much cheaper than BT,
- now offer a full fibre tariff,
- have a 24x7 UK call centre with the number easy to find, and -
- you can move to a BT Social Tariff from Plusnet for free.
Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2135.07/£3000 or 71.17% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
