You're right Beanie, feeling that blue is not the way to spend your Saturday evening. Remember the 6th line of your signature5

Sorry to hear you feeling down. It’s very hard to see the positives sometimes when it feels like you always feel like one step forward 10 steps back x5

beanielou said:Well it is late on a Saturday night & I am reflecting on my life. Not the best thing to do I am sure.
How did I get here?
Can hardly walk
Cant always afford the heating on
Counting every penny
No meaningful relationship
This is what comes of watching Rod Stewart & then the end of the Freddie Mercury film.
No I have not been drinking, I am just pondering how much my life has changed & I cannot quite work out how I got from there to here & how this is my reality.
I don't even think I am sure what I am trying to articulate.
I just feel such sadness & a abject failure.Sun_Addict said:I think most of us do this from time to time, I know I do. I see people living the sort of life I want to lead and wonder why I pulled the short straw. Then I think about the positive things, not that there are many, but I can usually come up with a couple. Then I think what it must be like for people such as those living in war torn countries such as Ukraine. After that I realise I’m luckier than I think, dust myself off and battle on.
Big hugs Beanie, hope you feel more positive today xx
I watched Rod too, well up until around 10pm.
Just sending you love XXXXNevertheless she persisted.6 -

I just watched Mayflies this afternoon. Absolutely fantastic acting but heartbreakingly sad, made me cry 😢 What a position to be in, absolutely dire, doesn’t bear thinking about. I was planning to watch something uplifting 😬
Hope you’re ok today xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
