Sorry things are tough. I'm sure you get a lot of satisfaction from helping at the foodbank and places like that - but it must be hard hearing people's sad stories so often.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

In today's news I have had a phone call from someone today which I was not expecting , to go over the long submitted PIP form. She wanted to clarify a few things in respect of my MH.
It was a short call.
The paperwork now goes back to the DWP for consideration & I will receive a response within 8 weeks.
A friend popped in today who has a senior position in the NHS & we were speaking about the disability reassessment process & she commented on the waste of time & money to the NHS of this!
This was before the phone call.

Sounds like at least it’s being processed finally. Will you get the claim backdated? Those with long term conditions that won’t improve shouldn’t have to go through all this 😠I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
