What a gibby day!
Got some petrol & spent the last of the birthday vouchers on a lovely wee ring from a local wee silversmith.
One thing I do need to get are some decent quality knee high socks.

I loathe Nationwide.Pin has locked on card reader.Phoned to get it unlocked.Can’t unlock until I get the pin reminder & it can then only be unlocked at a ATM.Cannot pay a bill over the phone.Aaarrgh.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I was given a pair of compression socks when I had my recent medical procedure and I must say, they really made my lower legs feel better, and stopped them swelling in the evening. I think they are approaching £15 a pair but worth having two pairs and just rinse out the pair you are not wearing so you can prevent injury to ankles and feet (make sure they have full feet!). Medi do some with closed toes in black or naturalSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2135.07/£3000 or 71.17% of my annual spend so far
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Sadly that's one of the reasons I keep another current account, though I've stuck with NW for access to their mortgage deals. Hope there is a solution.Won't help with the immediate problem, but as fyi I'm finding my new bank (bird one) much the best app of any I've tried.Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

I bank with Halifax and have an app, so easy. My mortgage is with Nationwide, tried to sign up for their app and it was a right faff so my dealings with them are via the website.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
