Often the best way to get through to a company is to Tweet them. If you’re not on Twitter might be worth joining for a short time? Companies don’t like to be named and shamed publicly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

                         2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
I had a call from the home insurance broker to tell me my insurance was running out at mid-day yesterday and they had not got my renewal. So I gave them (Ms polite and so disappointed) feedback and set out where they had failed to do as I expected over the last two renewals and explained I had gone with someone else via the (other competitor) local broker I know they have lost staff to in the last two years). I could hear the shock in the woman's response and this morning my email box has a response from their office manager setting out the remedial action he has taken and apologising, and asking permission to contact me next year at renewal which he will personally oversee.
So they can do it, but sadly, they have lost my not inconsiderable premium this year. I do feel better, that my issues have been heard now.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Sadly customer service is sadly lacking in so many ways these days.Suffolk_lass said:I had a call from the home insurance broker to tell me my insurance was running out at mid-day yesterday and they had not got my renewal. Unfortunately my car is part of a fleet insurance.
I have fed back to both the insurance company & Motability my dissatisfaction with the whole process.
Sadly the longer I don't have my own car the more I truly loathe driving & I am terrified that anything happens to the hire car
