Hooray to frog crunching. Glad you’re feeling a little better. Hang on in there won’t be long until you can meet your family again if the numbers continue to come down. 🤞January spends - £587.585

I do think being on your own & having to do everything is a drain sometimes too.

Yep, frogs are tasty! (Not really 🤢) ... but the decluttering sounds great, and I'm really glad to hear you're feeling more like yourself.2023: the year I get to buy a car5

Living on your own especially atm must be so hard work in a lot of ways. The number of times I have to get dh to lift something or take a lid of a jar... I know a close family member loves his life on his own but even he has admitted not seeing people is getting to him and we have been seeing him every week.I think you can meet a group people outside before we can......although this wet and windy weather doesn’t make it appealing.January spends - £587.586

As you know I don’t live on my own but still have to do everything on my own and it’s very wearing at times. I’d just love someone to say I’ll sort it out.Milann - tip for getting a lid off a jar, stab it with a knife, comes off like a dream.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I think none of us imagined a year ago we'd still be living this strange life. I've tried hard to stay positive but I miss my youngest dd who's sheilding at her boyfriends and has been since the call from our GP in Feb 2020.I was busy adapting to hands , face space etc and trying to figure out the sometimes confusing govt advice. We were pretty well through winter when everything began but I have struggled over the past winter.I've always been the doer and fixer after bringing up my four alone but feel like Shirley Valentine now talking to the walls.I see her as part of the bubble but space out my visits to minimse risk.Something I've noticed is a lot of memories have been coming back. I suppose I have more headspace at the moment. If they concern the ex I dismiss them. Not my circus and thankfully no longer my monkey!I had one memory earlier of when youngest was in her early teens, being home schooled after dreadful school bullying. She loved Hanson and would play MMMBop on repeat loudly day after day. I used to feel like screaming but right now would give anything to hear that blasting out from upstairs. So now she's made it through the rain and is in her mid thirties, a kind and caring woman. I never imagined she'd make it through but with lots of help and her own efforts she did.So I count my blessings, find somethng to do and another day goes by. Prof Chris Whitty has said we may need to live with Covid as we do with Flu but hopefully things will be a new norm.I've learned not to get so angry with those who flout the rules. You can't spend yout time feeling annoyed and irritated. So I find something to do to distract me.I think you've done amazingly beanie with the decorating and decluttering. After paying off the mortgage you must feel happier and when you have more freedom wont have clutter to weigh you down and can come home to a bedroom that brings you joy.Sending the car vibes. Surely they nust have it sorted soon.Take care all.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.4 -
