Good news on the alarm. We once had a leak in our bedroom and that drove us mad as it took us ages to figure out where it was coming from.

Would you be better with a tablet? I bought a new laptop (Acer) a couple of years ago but find it slow in comparison to a tablet. I only really use it if I need to use Excel or Word. That said it’s a decent one and wasn’t expensive.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

My current laptop is an Acer & it has been fab.
It is just getting very old & slow & has started to crash.
I use it every day & I need to use excel & spreadsheets for the FB.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. My computer is an Acer too...again very old. I use my ipad for most things but always use the laptop for anything involving payment. They all laugh at me but I won’t use my cards on my phone or tablet....no idea why - I just prefer it in on 1 machine 😏January spends - £587.584

I was very lucky to have my laptop gifted to me for decorating a relative’s house (with said relative) when they moved in.....that was a good while ago now....when London had the Olympics - it was on tv at the time. I couldn’t do it now....I actually have to admit I did as good if not better job than the decorator we’ve just had in. A 3 bedroom bungalow with 2 bathrooms a very big lounge dining room and kitchen and long L shaped hall 😳 and ceilings that went on forever - it took me all the summer holidays from bare plaster 3/4 coats of white emulsion everywhere. My iPad was a family 60th birthday present from everyone 😄😄 I have been a very spoilt Milann. 😄😄January spends - £587.584
