I am so so0 tired I nearly fell asleep getting my hair cut.
This is so not helped by my very old house ararm which has not worked for many years now starting to beep constantly which seems to be to do with the backup battery dying.
SO I have NO idea what to do~~  Who can I get to come & disconnect the blooming alarm?
Could an electrician do it?  Or who?

Sorry I wouldn’t know who to get. Would the lovely men in sheds  be able to help....a local handyman. Do you have a local FB page where you could ask?

  • I hope you get the battery sorted beanie. That beeping can drive you up the wall. Last time our communal alarm went like that my neighbour climbed up my step ladders and he took it out as we couldn't wait for the managing agent to send someone after the weekend was over!

A neighbour (or DS?) with a ladder or steps who is willing to replace the battery perhaps as a short term remedy? - he does not need to come inside to do it
I have no idea where the battery is located.
It has not worked for about 15 years.
