A funny funny old day today.
A real blast from the past when I was reminded of the office building I used to work in back in the day.
Bittersweet memories.
I would have been married for 38 years this week.
DS was nagging me (!!) again about completing my name change which is only partially done.

Will you be going back to your maiden name then? I can remember my mum feeling sad when she and my dad would’ve been married 20 years. He left at the 19 years point, I was 14 🥲 Shouldn’t dwell on what might have been, focus on moving forward xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

In money news the mortgage went out today.
I have moved the home improvement loan to another provider with a lower interest rate & i have reduced the term.

Well done on finding a better deal and reducing the loan term, you should definitely be pleased you've done that. I've been married 25 years and while the bank changed my name on everything else they've still not changed my cashpoint card to my married name no matter how many times I've asked them to. xx 5 -
