Beanie is kind - bullies are not
Beanie is strong - bullies are cowards if they get their fun belittling others
Beanie is resourceful - bullies have no imagination
Beanie doesn’t give up - bullies gave up being decent humans
Beanie loves her animals - often bullies are cruel to animals as well as people
Beanie has a great sense of humour - bullies humour isn’t funny (it’s usually cruel)
Just think what you’ve done when comparing yourself to others.....
You’ve brought a child up on your own- I’d struggle doing that - there are two of us, and that wasn’t easy
You’ve virtually paid your mortgage to ensure you have a roof over your head
You’re doing home improvements to keep that home safe and comfortable
You volunteer at the FB
You are a loving mum and daughter and friend
You keep on plodding on and encouraging many others as you do.
Annnd that’s what I know of you from here - and I don’t know you properly in RL.
It’s hard being ‘different’ and having to find your own way of doing things and having to cope with falls, pain and physio - you really do an amazing job 👏👏👏👏👏👏I've never posted on your thread Beanie but agree 100% with the post I've quoted. My youngest dds life was a nightmare due to bullying which was the reason I removed her from formal education at 13 and home educated her.You may have read on S-ss thread about the final counselling she had which really helped her deal with the memoreis of being bullied and work her way through the damage it had left.Jan her counsellor called it the parrot in your head and the trick was to challenge the negative reminders of the past. Tell it to shut up and go away. It sounds simplistic but can be very effective. It's obvious so many people are very fond of you - me included. You go above and beyond in life and I'm sure I'm not the only person who remembers Keep Plodding on a bad day and carries on plodding. My dd had genuine apologies in later life from some who'd made her feel useless. Some people are just naturally horrible but many are too cowardly to distance themselves from the bullies and join in less they be bullied too.Copy that post, it shows your true caring self and will remind you on dark days just what an inspiration you are to many and how worthwhile your care for those with little is as well as inspiring others to step up and help too.I hope you track down the Quentin Jardine book. I've bought from Abe books a number of times over the years and found them really good. Years ago I was trying to track down Rhonda Hetzel books ( She's in Australia) They had them at a bargain price and they arrived quickly . One from Aus and the other from NZ Much cheaper and quicker than ordering from amazon. You recommended Quentin Jardines books to me on Savvy's thread a while ago. I'm working my way through them . I think he must hold a record for the number of books written!Take care Beanie You're a lovely caring human being so I hope you can recognise that.Keep Plodding.pollyx
