beanielou said:Another day of manipulation.I am very tired this week & trying to do less which for me means not terribly much. My biggest failure is in comparing my self to others of a similar age. As my physio says she thinks I do amazingly well under the circumstances."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Listen to your physio and never compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone is different. You do really well given the circumstances and have a lot to be proud of, more than you give yourself credit for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Don’t let the bullies win, you’re better than that. I hope they remember what they did and are thoroughly ashamed of themselves now. Bullying makes me so angry, it’s totally unacceptable 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I really hope you start to feel better in yourself soon Lou.
OH has been bedridden for over 20 years, with all that entails, hoist etc, and although I'm mobile (after a fashion) I find it difficult more often than not. I say to OH that we have to be thankful for everything that we can do, and not dwell on what we can't do. Easy to say, but must admit it can be hard at times.
Remember, when your confidence is low, that there a an awful lot of people who are on your side and wish you well in everything you do. (((hugs))) X
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy9 -

Bullies are truly scum.
I am forever telling kids that we only have the words we say and the things we do. I wish human beings were better.
Big love to you Beanie, I wish you understood and believed that you are amazing, we all think it and so many of us including me owe you such a lot. Utterly amazing.
XXXXNevertheless she persisted.7
