That's a relief that she was there - very interesting that she was on your scooter, she's happy being with you

Yes. She certainly seems to be very settled & happy here. Her biggest problem is that she would eat all the time & is always looking for food! Obviously this comes from her time as a stray when she dident know when she was going to eat next. Wee soul. Honestly she eats so fast I think she will be unwell.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Bless her, she sounds like our dog with food, but ours is just plain greedy

I read somewhere that it’s instinct for a cat to eat 5 times a day so better to give smaller portions more regularly. My cat is always looking for food, she eats more than the dog so I tried this approach with her, just giving her half the amount. She ate it all then kept staring at me and her empty dish, she wasn’t impressed 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

We have a cat that was the runt of the litter and used to be the same - we always have a bowl of dry complete food and water down as well as the more ritual feeding of wet food that involves the reassuring chatter and stroking so she knows it is hers and she belongs. She is nearly ten now but it finally seems to have worked (took a while though!) - she comes and eats some dry food whenever I am in the kitchen though (expecting a stroke) but has learned to leave some. When she is anxious, she eats more of the dry food, to the point where it makes her sick. Now she is an indoor girl it is better though.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)

Years ago we were adopted by a lovely stray who had been abandoned outside our flats. I fed him outside for a year as I couldn't get anywhere near him, he was the most scared cat I've ever met. I opened the front door one day and he came in much to my amazement and that was it, we were his staff
. He would eat whatever he could get his paws on and in the end the vet put him on a diet food which he did thankfully like and it worked. I think its hard for ex stray and rescue cats who have fended for themselves to lose the urge to eat everything in sight 😻😻🐾🐾
