A dentist I went to when I was a teenager was an alcoholic and would be on the whiskey all day.  I remember being in the chair, glancing up and seeing a bottle on the top of the cabinet.  This particular dentist died and I started going to another one who made a right mess of a crown he fitted, my face swelled up alarmingly the next day and it became infected. There were stories doing the rounds saying he had AIDS then he was murdered by his boyfriend. Fortunately I've now found a good dentist 😂 Still hate going though.
