Pleased the vet visit wasn’t too bad and Master J is non the worse for his ordeal.
Hope you showed the family quizzes just how it was done. We’d be lost without technology- I’ve been story reading to my gks this afternoon....an hour passed before I knew it.....and they are 300 miles away from me. Still not the same as a cuddle on the sofa but better than nothing.I’ve still not buzzed my hair off - it really needs something doing to it - hot sweats and warm weather do not mix with longer hair in my case....I’m waiting to see what the social distancing rules change to at weekend.....if it’s going to still be a while ( which is what I predict) until we can visit hairdressers - I’ll do it. There’s still a decent shape around my ears if I leave it much longer it’ll be harder to see where I’m going......😳😂🤪 I’ll have to hide away from my hairdresser though - she lives facing me 😂😂😂January spends - £587.586 -
Have caught up with you now. A worrying time with mr j is now hopefully over , long may it last. I hope you are enjoying the sunshine the best way you can , it's good for our health. The difference in the air and sky colour at the minute is so good , as the air pollution is not there . Take care a Beanie , I am embracing the going grey at the minute , I hope we can get to a hairdressers soon.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

Having acquired a number 7 clipper attachment (7/8th") I can recommend a clipped cut - mine is just over a week old and I like it. Met one of the older male residents of the Village while out walking plants to someone's doorstep yesterday -
Him - "Where did you go for your haircut? My barber is shut until further notice!"
Me - My bathroom!
Him - "What you let DH cut your hair?"
Me - "You must be joking, I did it myself and then got him to finish the tufty bit I had missed!"
We laughed, and the accusative (under)tone that I had broken lockdown rules disappeared. Of course now everyone he meets will hear I have very short hair... ho hum. Have a lovely day while the weather is still spring-likeSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!

I colour my hair at home anyway as too expensive at the hairdressers. My hair is quite long, just past shoulder length so it’s just my fringe I need to cut, the rest can wait. We did an interactive quiz at a work team meeting and I came 2nd out of 11 so not a bad result. I’m much better at quizzes when I’ve had a drink and have actually won prizes 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
