Another vote here for Sketchers Beanie. They are very comfortable. I have a bad back and can only wear flat shoes.
I tend to wear flat boots in the winter and try and find comfortable sandals that have plenty of support ( but don't look frumpy) in the Summer. If I find a comfortable pair I tend to buy them again. Clark's are usually a good bet, but my current sandals are from Dune.Other than that, it is trainers all the way for me, I have Sketchers, Nike and Adidas at the moment. I even have a smarter plain black pair for wearing when I go to London....it is a thing when working in London, wearing trainers with skirts......because you have to walk so far.5 -
I have wolky sandals - the podiatrist altered the insoles which come out to correct my ankle. The insoles come out so you can add any inserts too. The first pair I bought was expensive but I wore them every day it was dry for 2 years. I have hotter ankle boots.January spends - £587.585

Hope you get some shoes sorted. Could you get a referral to a podiatrist once things get back to normal for shoe advice? I suspect they’d be expensive though....and they don’t always get it right. Mine advised vionic sandals which apparently have built in in-steps. I went straight over in them and gave them to a charity shop.....£80 down the drain.....
