On a side note I felt fat frumpy and underdressed.
I had same outfit on as last year.
I had not had my hair done nor my nails & I did not have a pretty frock on.

Morning Beanie

Glad you had a good time despite spending more than planned, it's not as if you're out all the time. Reminds me of my younger days going out, having a good night, waking up the next day, checking my purse and being shocked how much I'd spent

You're not shallow, it's only natural to want to look nice when you go out, especially when you don't go out very often. I'm sure your friends are more interested in your company than your dress. I wore an old dress to my work do yesterday, I don't go out often enough to have loads of occasion clothes so the ones I have tend to only come out at Christmas. Mind you my attire was dictatated by what would accommodate my cast.
And you didn't look fat, frumpy or underdressed on your photo

I'm with Sun Addict, absolutely.
As as a matter of information, I've never, ever had my nails done

Well you looked perfectly acceptable to me, your hair looks fine . I am sure your friends didn't judge you. I rarely buy new stuff to go out in, I am always the poor relation when I do.

Your night out sounded just the ticket beanie. I do have my nails done regularly but when it comes to 'dressy' attire I've not bought anything new for ages. I'm wearing the same outfit on Christmas Day as I did last year! I also wore the same outfit as last year on my works Xmas lunch. Nobody noticed.......:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
