Sent xbox one by mistake

It is a clear mistake on their behalf that you are hoping to benefit from. If you keep it and use it then it will be implied by them that you have for all intents and purposes purchased it. I would arrange for it to be sent back or risk being billed when they realise their mistake.Debtfree!0

Even if the op has a moral and legal obligation to return the console, how could the retailer prove beyond doubt that the op has the unit if the op doesn't inform them as such?0

I would imagine they sent it tracked, I can't see any retailer not doing so. Not difficult to see it was delivered to OP's address and that OP signed for it.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Perhaps because there's so much conflicting information around this topic?
The conflicting information is because too many people WANT to rip others off! Plus its the internet and anyone that can type can add information whether true or not.....
Honestly? Is it worth the aggro to you? Let them know and send it back!
(and yes its a "money saving site" I know.....)0 -

That just proves a package was delivered to the OP's address - no its contents.0 -
Yes you can keep it.
there you have the answer you want and if anybody comes back to you from the company asking for it back you can use the legal defense:
'..somebody on the internet said I could keep it'.0 -

as above its not unsolicited it was sent by mistake, you should contact them and they will likely ask for it to be sent back.
If you decide to do nothing and wait and see what happens they may or may not contact you for a return depending if they notice their mistake or not.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

If they wanted to be sneaky then they should buy the original item from somewhere else and then send it back to the original seller under DSR and say they don't want it. This would then give them the £50 refund back for the item.
Its unlikely a company will be able to prove that they send the wrong item to the OP when the OP can prove they send the item back to the company and got a refund.0
