In truth I have just skimmed the posts but did read indepth the ones re reporting posts from this forum.......
Of all the things in the world today to report, someone chooses to report posts from a forum ?????
I don't understand and more than that I do not wish to understand the workings of the mind of someone who does that.
To that person heres a few real life actions that may save you time and energy:
1. When watching a TV programme that upsets/disturbs/rattles you-turn to another Tv channel /turn TV off
2. When speaking to someone in real life and you do not like what they are saying and they are of the "type" that no amount of "discussion" will change their mind-walk away, and keep walking.
3.When reading posts on a money saving forum where ALL posters take time out of their day, their busy lives, to help people like me who they have never met, will never know in real life, live 100's of miles away from etc etc BUt also feel a comradeship with, a link deep enough that when times are hard, when the day feels so very long and full of greyness, that they come on here to post, to vent, just to let of steam BECAUSE they know that they will get a friendly ear, some laughs, some gentle ribbing and perhaps some advice to help them through.. If you read something you dont like...skip it, dont read it, scan read, flick through until you get to parts you want to read...
If you follow points 1 to 3 above then and only then will you have enough energy left to complain about the awful things that are actually happening in the world and then perhaps you may be able to do something about them and do good things instead of... what you hope to achieve for reporting these posts I cannot even begin to understand and as I said at the beginning..I do not wish to understand the mind of someone who does that...
FC and Nerfy-much love and grateful thanks for all you do from a grateful , grateful lurker-in good times and in bad.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

Good Morning
Haven't caught up but I just have to share my totally bonkers morning! Had a gas service booked for this morning. The engineer turned up much earlier than I was expecting. He was a very forward, chatty type so we exhausted all the small talk available whilst he worked.....very slowly!
When he was finished, he informed me he was too early for his next job in a hinty way so I made him a third cup of coffee and wondered what on earth we would talk about next
I was saved that by him asking if he could use the loo. I directed him to the downstairs one. He was in there for 25 minutes :eek::eek: I went and sat in the living room and chewed my nails over what he might be doing in there
When he came out he popped his head round the door and said 'bet you can guess what I've been doing':eek: All I could think was.......ok if you've pooped in my downstairs loo, I'll cope but please don't tak to me about it......just go and let me get the bleach out :rotfl::rotfl:
He finally left shortly after that. I forced myself to go into the loo expecting.....well goodnes knows what? and realised he'd been reading a Viz annual that lives in our loo. I don't remember when or how it got there but it's sort of a fixture in there now
Thanks Daryl for the weirdest morning ive had in ages :rotfl:0 -
