Very bad dad as Dad is not eating anymore and only taking sips of tea so declining further. I am not planning on going up until Sunday unless the home call my sister in. Dad can only talk a few moments. He is not in any pain but very nuaseaous and using oxygen almost all the time. He has spent a short while looking at the book I took him at the weekend.
My bmf says I should go up there but I am leaving that decision to the care home as I don't feel being there will be a comfort to him as he kept apologising to my dd tonight for his condition. I don't want him to be in the situation where he feels he needs to apologise for anything.

was going to attempt another NSD today until ds1 announced that he needed to take cake to school this morning...clearly the sixth form run on cakes...and cue a trip to T on the way to school!

I've skipped a few ( ) pages but am sad to see there is a bit of nastiness going on!

Can'T work out how to multi quote but I am in agreement with so many. Just like rl this thread is filled with people who have different opinions. And? That's part of the beaute of life, everyone is unique. No-One should feel like they can't post. And as for reporting, I think it should only be for those posts designed to provoke. Not many of them, thankfully.

Do I agree with everything? No. Do I need to? No. Should I report it? I don'T think so. I would consider my self very conservative and reserved in my opinions and there are times I think things are a little too risqu! for my taste. But it's not said meanly or to cause offense so I wouldn'T report it.

Nerfy, in particular but also anyone else who's not posting atm, come back! The thread is a better place with more banter and chat.

Bluewkd, I have not been on the thread long enough to know of madmuppet, but thanks for a good reminder that there is more in this life than being mean and making others uncomfortable.

you just reminded me ds2 is making a fish pie in school friday & has to take the base already made. i said to him so we need to make the fish then & he said no we have to make the pastry as the choice was fish pie or sheperds pie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I haven't caught up with the thread but cannot believe that anyone can report either FC or nerfy's posts as being offensive etc. :mad::mad: The reporter needs to get a life or join another thread.
