    Good Morning :)

    Haven't caught up but I just have to share my totally bonkers morning! :eek: Had a gas service booked for this morning. The engineer turned up much earlier than I was expecting. He was a very forward, chatty type so we exhausted all the small talk available whilst he worked.....very slowly!
    When he was finished, he informed me he was too early for his next job in a hinty way so I made him a third cup of coffee and wondered what on earth we would talk about next :cool:
    I was saved that by him asking if he could use the loo. I directed him to the downstairs one. He was in there for 25 minutes :eek::eek::eek: I went and sat in the living room and chewed my nails over what he might be doing in there :o

    When he came out he popped his head round the door and said 'bet you can guess what I've been doing' :eek::eek: All I could think was.......ok if you've pooped in my downstairs loo, I'll cope but please don't tak to me about it......just go and let me get the bleach out :rotfl::rotfl:
    He finally left shortly after that. I forced myself to go into the loo expecting.....well goodnes knows what? and realised he'd been reading a Viz annual that lives in our loo. I don't remember when or how it got there but it's sort of a fixture in there now :o

    Thanks Daryl for the weirdest morning ive had in ages :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    See how can you go and hide away, we need stories like this to keep us amused.

    Wow - thanks so much for the cheese!!!!! I will have to get my cheese fridge back in action!!!
    Managed 2 online shops - one for delivery and one for collection, had to use the PC and then ipad - as it would not allow me to use the codes twice? Managed to use a new customer code also, so excited!! Just a question for all you lovely experts, ordered some lamb shoulder from the butchers counter, showing at £10 per kilo instead of £5, I understand that the rate in store will be charged on my delivery, but just wondering if my picker would choose a joint at 2 kilo (£10) or 4 kilo (20) IYSWIM ??

  • Good morning everyone!!

    I know it's late but it's my first lie-in in weeks so I've been making the most of it. Caught up on all 9 pages I missed.

    1. FC me and OH have been following your posts for a while now in a non-stalker way I promise. ;) This mornings report had us in stitches, I genuinely don't know what I'd have done whether I'd have gone for the 'Are you alright in there' to ringing 999 assuming he's died on my toilet.

    2. So sorry to hear that posts are being inappropriately reported, I may have not been here long, but it's hard to see how any of these posts come close to being report-worthy. If anything it's the complete opposite I've never known such a friendly helpful bunch of people, makes me think so much more of society.

    3. This morning I got a note from Quidco to say my largest Quidco claim had tracked £75 for opening a Nationwide Flexiplus account. This account is costing me £10 a month and comes with worldwide travel insurance including sports, worldwide mobile phone insurance for up to 4 phones, and european breakdown cover for me. Much better than the £15 a month I was paying with Natwest. Next up to call Yorkshire Bank, honestly the phone thing is confusing me but whatever £150 free!! woooo!!

    Have a great day everyone. :beer: :j
