Update re Shades loo roll which was RTC in my ex Netto - did a test shop but APG compared the RTC price of 1.25 not the online price of 1.78 vs T £1.00 so with the 10% was still 90p which is good.

Thinking of doing a CC order for 10 but need to find out which store the cc orders come from and I'll go check their price ;)

Edit: Anon you were right :)

Im keeping an open mind :o by that I mean Im not thinking about it in any great detail just yet :rotfl::rotfl:
I've spoken to him earlier. She's not one of his lecturers but a guest lecturer taking part in some sort of exchange programme. She's American and they met when she went to see a production he was taking part in.
I've suggested (demanded :rotfl:) that he invite her to dinner soon. Ok, I'll be honest I am a bit shocked but he's a sensible lad most of the time and it's his life. I'll reserve judgement for when I meet her.

OH is being extremely laid back about it all and his opinion so far consists of shrugging his shoulders and telling me I shouldn't have been so nosey and pushy in the first place :o :rotfl:

My Dad too was a good bit older than my mother. Don't know if it played a part in how badly they got on or if it was down to many other factors?

I can imagine your OH might have something more to say if it was your DD coming home with an older man!

That's good you've invited her round though. My Dad and OH have only met a few times in the all the time we've been together. It's not that he disapproves, we've been together long enough now, but I do think he just finds it a bit odd :o My OH is 3 years younger than him as well.

I am a firm believer that age is just a number at the end of the day :)but then when you've got an OH 19 years older you kinda have to say that :p :rotfl:

    I loved it :D

It's pretty faithful to the book, which is also excellent.

Not really a "date movie" though :D Won't spoiler it, but hope you enjoy it anyway!

Hope your ok, just take care of yourself, you know we are all here when you want to tal xx
A deviated septum? That's where the middle bit of your nose goes towards one side so your nostrils aren't an even size. Easily fixed by surgery. This is where I get technical-ish. All that sneezing will be caused by irritated mucosal lining and the parts of your nose and sinuses only visible by a very thin camera. It's worth getting checked but NHS rules now mean that septoplasty isn't automatically funded amd funding will need to be applied for by your gp.

Polyps are horrible. I get to see pictures taken of them during surgery to remove them and some of them are :eek:

It must be quite difficult for you. These Americans *sigh* hope you get to meet her soon, I'm already looking forward to it :D

They were awful:eek: 1st time was local, 2nd time about 7-8 yrs later was general as they were really bad:( couldnt go out or go work as they were below nostrils :o
it been about 9 yrs since last done so hopefully not coming back again;)

That's exactly what I said to OH.....that he'd feel differently if it was DD.
Is good to hear it from the other side though ;) And as long as you are happy that's all that matters.

It's early days. Might turn out to be something and nothing and if it's not we'll deal with it from there. He is quite a mature 19 I suppose. He's been through a lot of rough stuff for someone so young.

DD sent him a rather blunt message that said 'I know men are supposed to look for their mother in a potential partner, but I think it means their mother 20 years ago' :o :rotfl:

    I'm :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at that text!

Seriously though, he's clearly a good guy and got a sensible head on his shoulders, you can tell that from your posts, so I'm sure it'll be fine :) These 'age gap relationships' can and do work. It could well fizzle out and be nothing or you could find yourself out buying a new hat ;):p:D
