    Good evening :)

I've deliberately stayed away today determined to get through my epic laundry weekend :( so today I've stripped 9 beds, turned and hoovered all the mattresses, replaced pillows where necessary, swapped summer duvets for winter ones and put all fresh bedding on. Then I've washed and dried all the bedding I took off.
My poor dryer protested and started leaking water so I had to strip it down and give the filter system a good clean :o

I am NEVER getting that behind with my laundry again. Sod that for a waste of a weekend :rotfl::rotfl:

CJJ sorry to hear things aren't good for you. I hope things improve for you soon. Massive hugs :A

FC for 9 beds do you own a hotel :o that charges by the hour:j:j

    Are you old mother hubbard:cool:

Phew! Just had an epic catch up from last night!

FC has the news sunk in yet about DS and his new lady friend? I often wonder now what my parents must have thought of me getting involved with my OH at first. It didn't occur to me at the time really as I was young and 'in love'. I know they didn't really approve because of the age gap though. It must be a lot to take in :o

Need to think about doing some list planning but not sure my brain is up to it this evening!

    He everyone,

Yes they are still about or at least in the Manchester area. I had to buy a couple more packets because I couldn't read the code properly. I might be able to read it if I shine a torch on them, I will see what I can do.

I had to hold mine to a light part of the screen to see the code on 1 pack of mine as totally unreadable otherwise If I held it to the light/ sun it showed bb and another code of some description

Evening all, bit of a long trip but we're home now. A large stretch of restricted speed due to "Animals in the road" plus an accident involving eight cars were the cause. Fortunately it didn't look like anyone was hurt but there was some serious rubbernecking going on, added a good half hour to the journey. And we didn't even see any animals, although we had fun guessing what they might have been. My money was on elephants, DH thought crocodiles :D
Settling in now for beans on toast, a nice mug of tea and the strictly results. Rock & roll.

No the kids have 2 beds in each room or bunks for when visitors stay. DS1 still has a room here and I've 2 spare beds on top of that :o

I was just thinking about you - I was just checking Amazon and one of my authors has a new hardback out, just published about Edinburgh

A Work of Beauty: Alexander McCall Smith's Edinburgh Hardcover – 31 Oct 2014

    by Alexander McCall Smith

I have it on my wish list but it will be quite a while yet - its £17 at the mo

That book looks lovely. I'll keep a note of it as Papa Mooo might enjoy it. Not at that price he won't though :rotfl:

Speaking of books, I was in Poundworld earlier and got Simon Pegg's autobiography for...£1 :rotfl: A nice stocking filler for Mr Mooo sorted there.

    Hello lambs.

How are we all? Hope you have all had a better weekend than me. Tw@ts from next door have been making so much noise, I am surprised dead people have not come out of their graves. My head is banging.

I've not been on much this week. So many pages to catch up on. Have I missed anything special?
