    Evening all

Phew! Just had an epic catch up from last night!

FC has the news sunk in yet about DS and his new lady friend? I often wonder now what my parents must have thought of me getting involved with my OH at first. It didn't occur to me at the time really as I was young and 'in love'. I know they didn't really approve because of the age gap though. It must be a lot to take in :o

Need to think about doing some list planning but not sure my brain is up to it this evening!

Im keeping an open mind :o by that I mean Im not thinking about it in any great detail just yet :rotfl::rotfl:
I've spoken to him earlier. She's not one of his lecturers but a guest lecturer taking part in some sort of exchange programme. She's American and they met when she went to see a production he was taking part in.
I've suggested (demanded :rotfl:) that he invite her to dinner soon. Ok, I'll be honest I am a bit shocked but he's a sensible lad most of the time and it's his life. I'll reserve judgement for when I meet her.

OH is being extremely laid back about it all and his opinion so far consists of shrugging his shoulders and telling me I shouldn't have been so nosey and pushy in the first place :o :rotfl:

My Dad too was a good bit older than my mother. Don't know if it played a part in how badly they got on or if it was down to many other factors?

I did a fairly 'normal' CC this evening to use up a £29 ish evoucher that was about to expire - I used the usual stuff thats been mentioned on here, ice cream donuts (whoever really pays £2.29 for those !)chocolate cake, carver etc and everything worked as expected.

However, I was not a happy bunny as it was dark when I collected, the machine for inputting your details wouldn't work AGAIN, the call phone just rang and rang without anyone answering and I had to eventually go and bang on the back door. another long wait and eventually somebody came out on his way off duty and he agreed to go back upstairs and get someone out of the canteen as they'd all gone on a break. Then a woman came out from the back with a trolley and said she had seen me on the CCTV and knew it must be me as I was her last order - if she saw me why didn't she answer her perishing phone ! The phone was still ringing out really loudly, the machine itself was making very strange loud screeching noises and the bell I'd rung on therir back door wouldn't turn off either. Bells everywhere. They were still all ringing when I finally left as she couldn't turn them off.

Its my fault for doing a late collection after dark but I really don't like being kept hanging around at the back in bad lighting for around 15/20 minutes - with nobody about and nobody answering the phone I felt a bit vulnerable. And to crown it all, my donuts were all squashed, the bread was thin when I ordered toastie, the milk leaked,I had a big bag of mushrooms when I ordered 0.1K and the carrot was big enough to bring tears to your eyes!

LFAB I have a feeling I won't need to record any darts tonight. It might be all over by 9pm?

I caught the last few legs of the Chizzy/Huybrechts match......was very exciting! :D

Yes, but I tripped up on the final activity as you can't spend at just any of the shops the link takes you to, just very specific ones. I am disputing this with them as I find it misleading and I believe that link should only take you to the relevant retailers.
I think so as it didn't work with my receipt upload from The Works. The ones I might do are Blue Inc (cheapest item is deo spray and shower gel for £2.99 for both), JD Sports or American Golf.
Someone suggested I buy a bag in the store as we have bag charges, I'm not sure if a 10p sale would count though

    Thanks girls.

SD going to go to blue inc too tomo. I never even knew we had one in town

Hopefully they have the deo xx

Thats interesting - I was told many years ago that there was something wrong with my septum (?) and I needed an operation. The consultant said it was a wonder I could breathe at all! I was in my early late 30's at the time and about to start a new job and, as I could breathe perfectly well, I delayed the op as I didn't want to go sick as soon as I started work. I never go around to it and, as I am still here, I can't see what the fuss was about. But, I am now thinking that maybe thats what causes the sneezing.

A deviated septum? That's where the middle bit of your nose goes towards one side so your nostrils aren't an even size. Easily fixed by surgery. This is where I get technical-ish. All that sneezing will be caused by irritated mucosal lining and the parts of your nose and sinuses only visible by a very thin camera. It's worth getting checked but NHS rules now mean that septoplasty isn't automatically funded amd funding will need to be applied for by your gp.

Yeah think you could be right actually. I was stuck at work today so never seen anything of the semis this afternoon. Currently waiting on the lappy coming to life so I can get it on!
