Noooo, it's never too early to start on a bucket list! Time goes quicker as you get older, and the number of responsibilities you have that prevent you from doing some things increases. Carpe diem! :)

    I take your point :)
  • Has anyone used the b/shop voucher in the glamour mag yet? I went into town this morning and left mine in the car:mad:
Bought another mag with a different colour polish and it had 2 vouchers in it:j

    Must be my lucky day;)

Well not really I've just been searching for a new controller for the boiler... Ours fell in the washing up bowl and was in water for a while:mad: surprisingly the digital clock still works but it won't send signals to the boiler...£75 + for a new one:eek: we can over ride the system to turn it on and off but we can't set it to come on in the morning so its nice and warm when the monkeys get up!!

Face on and just about to get my head down. I promise! But before I do something has tickled me so much I have to share.

My usual daytime attire on a normal day at this time of year is jeans, whatever top and baseball boots and has been for forever. Built for comfort :D On Saturday my DD commented in her usual abrasive way that she thought it was time I started dressing more 'age appropriately' Im used to it and brushed it off as hormonal teenage girl dogginess :rotfl::rotfl:

I've just been in her room and she's left her laptop on with three tabs of 'my'baseball boots open :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I've been wearing them so long, they're fashionable again and she wants a pair but clearly not while I'm still wearing them :rotfl::rotfl:

That's one Christmas present sorted :D :rotfl:

I have a couple of things girls don't like me wearing one of them was the coat I wore to the bonfire night which got damaged so they were actually quietly pleased.

On the whole my girls have always been ok about me wearing the same as them. In fact the coat I wore to the baptism was actually what 17 year old DD3 wanted, I didn't really want the expense just for me so said I will wear it for the day and you can have it after. She jumped at the chance. :money: It was a bit small for me and the sleeves were a bit long, really wish had taken it off for the photos. :o But have booked in to borrow it again for Mr TS's xmas do. :rotfl:

    Good morning everyone, just.

Had to wash and hoover the car out this morning, got half the beach in it, and its going for an MOT tomorrow, and OH said they would scrap it, as it soooo dirty inside and out.

Took DD2's car for MOT this morning, it failed on tyres and they don't keep any in stock.

So had to go off to get some fitted before retest as I am driving it back up to Stoke for her tomorrow.

Tyre place said uneven wear and did I want tracking checked. So said yes and they said it was out so trusted them and paid £32 to get that done on top of tyres.

Went back to our long standing mechanic who said there was no uneven wear so looks like I have been done.

Lesson learnt, will remember to ask him if there is a next time I have to go off for new tyres. :o

Now have a 8.15 hour coach trip to come back to Poole on Wednesday, only costing £9 so was no question really compared to the train.

Lots of £9 National Express offers if you book at least 3 days in advance at the mo. :T

I would shake out as much water as you can, if you can unscrew the back too then do that, let it dry out somewhere warm and give it another go, also if it has a battery you can try removing that too.

If it's properly broke, can you order it from a Q xmas bonus merchant?

Thanks to all the lovely elites who said I might get an advent candle in Aldi...I have just returned and yes I have...thank you!

Very glad, another tick on the list.

But did you exercise self control in Aldi and not come out having spent £20 and got another car boot full and dozens more things to wrap up?
I have no self control in that place
