Morning all.....can I just ask a small question please. Did anybody buy the Now boxes from ebay? On the description is said that they had a 6 month subscription with them. I have received mine and it only has 4 months with it. Has anybody else got the same problem.....I have emailed them but am awaiting reply. Tia xxBefore you assume, learn the facts,

Afternoon everyoneBah, I think I've missed the Disney bluray BOGOF offers
Does anyone know of anywhere that's still doing it?
BOGOF ended yesterday but there is an embarrassment of free Disney DVDs/Bluerays out there today in T. Picked up all the ones I needed, DTD no quibble as stickers and banners still in situ and in one store a freestanding display. Pretty sure all still left in place after I was refunded.
Also got a few bags of free Twix and Malteser funsize packs - half price ended yesterday but big displays still showing offer price in a couple of stores this morning.0 -
Just back from A's with some halloween brochures with the giovanni 50p off vouchers (better late than never :rotfl: ) I see they compare well with S
so will pop down to A's again later to see if I can get some.
Are they freezable?

Good afternoon Elite, I froze most of mine gocat. I tried cooking from frozen...not to be recommended! If you defrost first though it cooks up just fine and tastes no different than fresh. Hth x0 -

I've been up since around 5pm, can't sleep again due to angry thoughts. The weekend has been very stressful for me again due to having stepson over. I was quite prepared for it this weekend but then on Friday just before he arrived OH and I had a massive row which put me out of sorts. It will probably take me at least another couple of days to get back to some semblance of normal, normal for me anywayI feel so fed up that its Monday and I have to go to work after not enjoying my weekend. I'm starting to feel more and more that I'd be better off if I just go and live alone then I never have to see the people who upset me. Maybe life would be easier that way. I wish I had the guts to do it but I'm too much of a coward to take that step
Does anyone have any advice please for getting rid of unwanted thoughts? I should be able to relax now that stepson has gone but I'm still dwelling on what OH said on Friday and how it upset me. I don't want to be like this but if I can't find a way to stop feeling so stressed and anxious the only other answer is to go back on antidepressants, which will bring other problems
Hi Evangeline
Sorry to hear you are having a rough time.
Unwanted thoughts can be dealt with in a couple of ways. One of the most effective for people is to place them into a storage box (or memory box). You visualise the box, give it a colour maybe, then put the unwanted thoughts in the box and seal it. Decide where you want to store the box - out in the garage maybe, or in the loft out of the way. If the colour you gave the box was a dark nasty colour, try mentally changing it to a colour you like.
You can now choose to revisit those thoughts at a later date if you like, and they are stored in a safe place in a box made of a colour you like. You can leave them as long as you want, or never look in the box again, your choice.
The other way is to change state. You are angry, upset, fed up with certain people and want to run away.
In your mind, think of something totally different - maybe a favourite beach, painting, film. Concentrate on that and take the moment to remember how happy you felt watching the film, walking on the beach. Or look out the window, see the birds fly, watch the leaves blow. Concentrate only on that and let it absorb you. Wonder where the bird came from, where its flying to. How does the wind feel under its wings. Take time to notice how it glides on the currents.
You stopped those thoughts didn't youMaybe only for a moment this time, but with practice, all negative thoughts can be swished away.
When I do it I actually make a swoosh noise in my head and choose to change state. I am no longer pi**ed off and angry at someone or the world, I am with the bird, free, soaring, looking down at the small insignificant world below me.
Anyone struggling with negative, invasive thoughts should look up mindfulness and neuro linguistic programming. It can help immensely0 -

Some of Scotland’s best known heritage attractions will be giving away thousands of free tickets to people who pre-register online as part of this year’s St. Andrew’s celebrations.
Scotland’s most visited paid for tourist attraction, Edinburgh Castle, the former home of the Stewart Kings and Queens, Stirling Castle, and Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness are amongst 35 of Historic Scotland’s winter ticketed attractions participating across the length and breadth of the country. The ticket giveaway is part of the Scottish Government’s Winter Festivals campaign which celebrates Scotland’s unique festivals – St. Andrew’s Day, Burns Night and Hogmanay – and this year forms part of Homecoming 2014, which has seen events take place the length and breadth of Scotland.
Members of the public can register for tickets from today, 10th November, at a special website, www.ticketgiveaway.co.uk. Visitors can register for a free ticket for their chosen site for either Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th November which will provide admission for up to two adults and three children.
There is no limit to how many sites can be applied for, although visitors are being urged to be quick to register so they don’t miss out on the chance to visit a great historic property for free with registration closing at 5pm on Friday, 28th November.
For tickets and a full list of participating sites visit www.ticketgiveaway.co.uk.
For details of opening hours for individual sites, visit www.historic-scotland.gov.uk/places
Thanks I will apply later
Just sneaking a catch up.:rotfl:0
