M3 evo or Lancer?
Brother had the 6.5, only car I've been a nervous passenger in, had my eyes shut and held the seat!0 -

Missed this, when did that happen?0 -
I don't really know much about cars but was always brought up to believe that Audis were reliable and BMWs/Mercs to be "more money than they're worth"

Lancer, he 'took it to kwikfit' for a service and they cocked it up.0 -

You obviously don't know much about Warranty Direct! Their car is based on how much money they have had to pay out in warranty claims.
I can only assume that the owners of the cars on the list are more persistent than owners of other cars as, in my experience, Warranty Direct are one of the worst warranty companies for trying to wriggle out of genuine claims.0 -

I expect an engine for the V10 M5 would be more than a new average priced car.
I know the V8 M5 was most advanced car engine when it made it's debut, but was nowhere near as highly strung as the V10

Here's the components:
Engine - BMW M5 (years 04-11)
Axle and Suspension - Audi RS6 (02-11)
Gearbox - Jeep Grand Cherokee (06-)
Electrics - Mercedes-Benz R-Class (04-)
Braking system - Fiat Multipla (99-05)
Air con - SEAT Alhambra (96-)
Steering system - Chrysler 300C (05-)
I was interested to see BMW, Audi and M-B on the list!
Thoughts?

I'm just worried to see the term 'Axle' used in description against a car not built in 1927.0 -
I guess it's a measure of how risky those parts are to insure. Doesn't necessarily mean those parts are crap. Not too surprising that something like a 3-10 year old M5 engine would be a big risk.0
