let alone a lorry driver with places to be

    At 5.30 in the afternoon?

The lorry was far too big to be there - there seems no reason for it - not a main 'A' or 'B' road.

The driver probably thought he didn't care as he knew he had little marking on his vehicle so unlikely to be traced

Why don't you get yourself a hobby?

  • Some owls are protected or endangered species, if you hit one it would help to try and see if its injured and get it vet attention ASAP. if you cannot locate it then I would suggest you call an owl sanctuary local to the area of the incident and report it to them who may be able to scout the area and try and find it.

Has the road traffic act changed this week?

You're not required to stop if you hit and owl so you wouldn't have caused him any trouble.

You may have made yourself look thick though.

Just human decency would be nice - but what would you expect from a lorry driver?

He may have been delivering vital supplies to a secluded owl sanctuary.

    He's done nothing wrong.

44 tonnes against a bird did he even know he hit it?

That owl could have been some youngster's pet, reared by hand from a chick.

For pities sake won't someone think of the children.......

If we stick with the OPs bigoted view of lorry drivers he was probably looking to dump the body of the prostitute he just murdered but some tool was following him.
