Okay have done a quick consult of YNAB, paid my £500 into offset mortgage account and budgets are as follows for the month:

Food - £295 (but already spend over a third on Friday's big shop)
    Petrol - £80
Other spends, inc. kids school and leisure activities, hairdresser etc - £200
    Nights out - £100

I have a weekend away with friends at the end of the month, accommodation & transport sorted but this is for eating out and social spends, any left will go into Xmas savings. As it spans two days and one night have counted it as my two outings for the month, can't be greedy.......

Personal challenge - have already committed with a friend to try and lose a stone before Xmas, so will aim for 7lb weight loss this month. As part of this will also try to exercise at least 5 times a week, so 20 exercise sessions.

Finally will set target of 15 SFD with the hope of achieving more. Have one under my belt today.

Good luck everyone, off to update my sig!

Food Budget £300 - I normally budget £400 and generally actually spend £350. OH does spinning, MetaFit, Insanity HiiT, Mountain Biking and running so eats a lot.

Fuel £30, this will be plenty, I use very little, a tank lasts 6 weeks, an easy one for me

    NDS 15 - 20 should be do-able if I take packed lunches.

Food-bank £5 plus £5 worth for Dogs Trust again.

Two outings - I have a book of 20 walks in the East Riding, which I have had for ages and we have only done one :o so will do minimum of 2 walks with friends and dogs and children. Don't mind the mud and have excellent boots and gear so the weather will not be a problem. Will take a picnic - the kids love this.

Lunch at work - just need to be organised for this one.

Exercise - Starting with the walks and trying to get some fitness back now I am getting better.

Personal Challenge - Regain some fitness and cope with chest problem if its going to be long term.

Well white rabbits, anchors away and we are off.

Day 1 and it's a sfd. Got up early dog walked, spent rest of the time cleaning my kitchen and haven't ventured into the cupboards yet.

Sat on my bed shattered now, will do a cupboard a day whilst cooking- cleaning not my favourite job.

Weather turned horrid now so not going to fireworks display will make some leek and potato soup, to go with my pizza. Thin one!

Weighed myself this morning 12st 6lbs happy as I was 13st before I lost 10lbs through IBS so only gained 2lbs. Be happy to reach 12st by December.

Listed high chair to sell on Facebook and sent off forms for bank transfer to marks Spencer. Vouchers would be handy.

Good luck everyone going to try for 20sfd x
