I am in SOA!!!
Good job, and I will of course be sticking to budgets
Christmas: £45 between 3 people left to do.
Groceries: £130 - no going over - the end!
I have no outings planned. I would rather save my 'outings money' for a tub of ben and jerrys at the weekend. So £5? for the month... lol. I do however have a shoe shop trip, which will be expensive. Free to get there, £30 minimum in there for Jellytot.
NSD's - 18 for me too.
MEAL PLANNING is required. Starting tonight on a plan for the next week. Shopping lists, covering everything. Organisation is the key to my November.
See you all tomorrow xx

Okay, I have a number so will do what I can.
Food Budget £150
This is high and more than last month. However I am looking at least 6 weeks on crutches and less than two weeks to prepare before I go in for my operation. Have been using the fridge and freezer contents and not replacing store cupboard ingredients so it needs building up again. May be able to transfer value of food stocks at month end onto December budget.
Transport budget £30.
Same as October but no idea what it needs to cover. Only fair that I cover the parking for the person who takes me into hospital (and possibly collects me - on agenda for later in the week) not sure but guesstimate 2 x £3.50 (taxi would have been much more).
Transport/ Help £10
DS3's friend offered to help with the move but DS3 would have to collect him (this is how they do things). DS3 could use my weekly ticket but need to find cash for friend. DS3 has a 'meet' on the 15th and gf may come back with him - this is their Christmas, although he is going to hers again for Christmas. he has the money to get his friend this week, but would need it back to go to his 'meet'.
NSD 20 but lots of spend days to start with.
Exercise Will ask for specific advice after op. Know they may get us up from 4 hours after op, starting with 2 helpers then one then solo and then a little walk every hour but that may just mean across the ward. Until then I seem to be doing as much as I can but rest when I need to (I sort of deflate).
Personal challenge
Under consideration - couple of things I need to think about. Going to check some figures. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
can't sleep so thought i'd start my november budget.
1) food £320- would love to reduce it but spent well over last month.WE used to spend£600 before i joined this forum:eek: However will aim to use up stuff in cupboards and freezers this month by batch cooking and looking at new recipes. This is difficult with two picky kids.
Petrol £200./
Have finally got OH on board with debt busting by remembering he loves a good spreedsheet. He's started saving his reciepts and has set time aside each week to fill in his beloved spreedsheet.:rotfl:Had a good long chat about money and he says its difficult for him to comprehend why and where our money goes as he doesn't sort out the money.
2) Will pay some money off debts when bills arrive.
3) would like to aim for 10 nsd as i know realistically 15 isn't going to happen:huh:
4) Food bank donation noted
5)Taking the oh and kids to nature reserve this wkend.Entry free but oh likes cake so thats budgetted for. Taking kids to see the paddington bear movie soon also budgetted for as we have 2 tickets through sweet sunday offer and can use DD2 CEA card so will only have to pay for one ticket
6) OH and DD1 and DD2 take pack lunches to work and school. But the kids do eat at schooll once or twice a week. Will aim to make their lunches more interesting:j
7)will take the dog on a longer walk each day
8) see 1
9) the kids liked mothernerds idea of a portable rainbow:o so my challenge is to knit two rainbow scarves. DD2 wants the nursery ryhme version and DD1 wants the science version:eek:budgets = food gone:eek:/ petrol almost gone:eek:/nsd:mad:/ Treats: where the money gone? far far away:mad:/exercise not happening/declutter: only my purse:(
time for me :fat chance0 -
Morning all and happy November 1st
Well I aim to do some exercise today. I'll be out most of the day in central London and don't intend to spend a bean. I know the little fella will probably want tat from Madam Tausauds, so i'll take a small pack of christmas sweets to pacify him or use money I have left over from last month, that is in my bag-around 3.00.
Well have a good day everyone
Today I am grateful for the health of my family and being able to spend quality time with the little one today:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

traveller - have a great day out, hope London isn't too busy.
sazzlebgood - I hadn't heard they'd made a Paddington film until you said that... I'm now re-evaulating my list of outings....
Weekly challenge number 1 will be up tomorrow, hope everyone has a relaxing and productive first day!Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Morning all
Just weighed myself (as prep for my personal challenge) and I have put on 12 of the 21lbs I had lostgrrr. However, I am determined 8lbs will come off this month. Off to the gym in a bit, followed by cleaning, tidying, et food shopping (I ran out of energy yesterday) and dog walking. That should all help burn a few calories and I won't eat the left over Halloween treats (no trick or treaters!)
Hope you all have good first daysLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
