I had 5% at Argos. I used it and a couple of days later a highlighted note appeared under the transaction. That has gone now and no mention of retailer offers at all. No cash actually added to the account yet.0

I had some cash added today, for a Morrisons offer I redeemed on February 11.
The offers I have are fairly lame - Heals, Patisserie Valerie, West Cornwall Pasty Co - none of which I have ever bought anything from and I don't think I will in the next decade or so.
Still, in total I got almost £30 back now, so I shouldn't complain.0 -
Anyone used Apple Pay and still got the cash back with Rewards?
My Santander CC is the one I use both for Rewards and Apple Pay.
Thanks0 -
@leeroy2009 how do you get the morrisons cashback? Was it through a halifax credit card or debit card? I shop at morrisons all the time and this 10% discount would be a massive benefit to me! Any advice greatly appreciated!
Also does the santander rewards only work for the santander 123 card? I have a normal everyday current account. Can I get it on that or only on the 123?0 -
To "The Londoner", the retail offers cash back mentioned here is from Santander, and is a "one time" reward where there are a number of pubs, shops, car hire, parking and similar outfits that offer deals. Many are one off, so you can't get cash back on every visit. The money appears in your account the following month.0

Do any other banks besides Santander and HBOS have such retail offers?0

Nationwide has something similar.0

How does this actually work. Do you only start getting offers on your account after a few months of use?
I opened a 123 account this month and although I've activated 'My Offers' online I'm currently showing 'no offers' under that page.0 -
A friend fairly recently switched banks to Santander and has different offers to me, so it's a complete mystery as to how we differ as both our addresses are about 12 miles apart.
In several months I've only managed about £20 cash back, there are some useless (to me at any rate) offers, currently mine are:
Trainline, Toby Carvery, Sizzling Pubs, Hilton Hotels, Crown Carvery All Inns, Oliver Bonas, Qatar Airways, Europcar and Millenium Hotels.
I've had cash back from some of the pub chains before and a couple of times from Pets at Home and Waitrose.
By the way, it also works if you use Apple Pay when using the same card on A/P0 -
I'm assuming it's either one of two things:
1. My app says 'offers local to me' - so I assume it's based on geographical location.
2. It's based on your spending habits - once they've got a general idea of where you shop they'll send offers to you that aren't related to those places.... :think:0
