this is now gone live on my account 123 (sorry if there's a thread already), only for snobby Waitrose at the moment on my account, 5% off - still no good as this wont tempt me into store.
I much prefer the 10% discount at Morrison's Halifax keep offering me.

Perhaps you've used B&Q, Currys, Tesco, Radisson and Costa.
Other companies are prepared to buy your custom.0 -
Got Waitrose (5%, max £10) and Heals (15%, max £250). We are using Waitrose all the time, not spent anything in Heals for about 30 years.0

I just tried switching it on but "
We are unable to complete your request. Try again later.
For technical reason, we have been unable to process your request."

£200 waitrose gift card coming up I guess
(5% off max £10)
Not as good as Amex 20% off and ebay bidding is too bothersome
Unfortunately you can't buy the paper vouchers any more and get change in cash0 -

How would any CC know whether I was buying a gift card or groceries?
In any case I would be using my debit card as I don't have a 123 CC. But I've just realised I can ask for cashback instead...0 -
It's very simple - the retailer will pass the information to the credit card company.
They could do the same with cashback at the till - but I have never been offered cashback when paying with a CC, only with debit cards.0
