  • I got a chq from tesco finance for one reason or another from a loan I finished in 2011 but it has arrived in my maiden name, can I still pay it into the bank?

kirstydriver- were you with the same bank before you got married? Then they should have your maiden name on record anyway. If not, just bring some proof of your maiden name with you when paying it in. I still get loads of things in my maiden name, including cheques, and have never encountered a problem personally.
