Congrats on getting so much for your books on FatBrain, Samiszel:T
They either never want any of mine, or offer a pittance for them:(. I wish I had some textbooks to sell!0 -
£17 made this afternoon, which brings me to £175.56. Should've been another £40 from hubby doing overtime, but he couldn't finish the job today as the customer had bought the wrong item! Hopefully will be able to add it next weekend now. Also got a few ebay items finishing tomorrow so should have more to add to the potStarting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500

Wow, not been online much so got a lot of pages to read to catch up.
I'm going to try for £5 a day for November (£150).
Need a bit more money saved for Christmas and furniture in the New Year Sales.. Will see what I can do.
Managed to get my first £5 Morries voucher.
Sold a picture for £5 and won £7 on Scratchcards.
(Although I spent the actual money already I'm still going to count it and repay my savings.)
So... £17/150 already, still got a way to go yet.
On loads of Survey sites but don't think I'm going to hit any of the payout thresholds by Christmas.
How do you all record earnings and thresholds on sites?

Just tried 4 different books on fatbrain and they've quoted over £16 for them. They are 4 books that don't get looked at and am pretty sure one was given to me! I'll wait and see whether they actually pay up that amount before adding anything here, but thank youStarting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500

Congrats to you too on success with FatBrain, MrsSave:T.
I'd been offered £2.15 each by FatBrain for 2 books during the summer. I thought they were worth more than that and checked on Amazon to see what sort of prices they were getting there. I was pleasantly surprised and listed them on Amazon. They both sold within a fortnight (which is quite quick for Amazon, a lot of my books have been listed for yonks but listing is free). One sold for £27 and the other for £29.95:j. I assume FatBrain would have sold them on for a big profit as they surely check prices of other sellers. They were factual rather than real textbooks, though, so that's maybe why they didn't offer me much for them
Do textbooks have to be really current to command high prices on FatBrain? .0
